Orange County, FL – A half-day workshop will be held for homeowners association board members and property managers. Attendees will be educated on alternative landscaping and irrigation methods as well as a variety of attractive, drought-tolerant plants, shrubs and groundcovers that will allow a lush and green landscape while conserving water. A panel of legal experts will discuss issues surrounding revising homeowners association covenants, conditions and restrictions as well as architectural review standards. Exhibitors from the irrigation and landscape industry will be available to display environmentally friendly landscape materials and the latest irrigation technology.

The special guest speaker will be Natalie Allen from The Weather Channel who is anchor on Forecast Earth, the hour-long weekly program where climate news meets green living.

Other speakers include: Craig Borglum from IrrigationRepair.com, Teresa Watkins from Florida Water Star and Ondine Wells from the Florida Yards and Neighborhoods Program/University of Florida. The panel of legal experts includes: Patrick Howell from Taylor & Carls, P.A.; Russell E. Klemm from Clayton & McCulloh and Thomas Ankersen from the University of Florida Law.
